Purpose
These community workshops are meant to educate the community in how to help individuals and families dealing with addiction.
Participants will learn:
- What body and brain changes happen with addiction
- Why people suffering with addiction can’t “just say no”
- How individual community members can help fight addiction
- What living with an addiction is like
- How Narcan/Naloxone overdose kits work (and how to get them)
